Hello and welcome!

My name is Michael Chaves and I’m a director. I was born in Southern California and I’ve directed commercials, music videos, and feature films. My last name is Portuguese and my dad’s family comes from the Azores; a group of islands off the coast of Portugal. (Chaves is pronounced: SHAWVS. Rhymes with JAWS. But don’t worry, no one gets it right.)
